Cannot login to my wordpress site anymore

Hi, I’m trying to regain access to my site where I wrote blog for years. I have a bookmark and now when I try to login it says: “This site is currently private. If you would like to request access, we’ll send your username to the site owner for approval.” I don’t receive any mail. And when I use private browsing so that I can login, it says:”Your account has been blocked as a security precaution. To continue, you must reset your password.” And when I do that, I don’t receive any mails. Is there any way to unblock my account?

You created the account mikkobothas only 2 months ago. It’s obvious your site is connected to another account of yours.
As you don’t receive any email, those emails are probably send to another email account of yours; also check the spam and unwanted mail folder in all of your email accounts.

Yes, I know my current account is different. I had to create it to be able to write here. If the reset is sent to some other email, is there any way to know which email account? When I login and receive “Your account has been blocked….” msg, I use the username, that’s also the name of my site. And because I get that response, I know I have the correct password. The problem is just that it’s blocked. So my question is, can WordPress unblock the account?

We can’t reveal the other email address here, but we do have an account recovery process. Have you tried this?

Hi,
So, I followed the instructions in “Account Recovery Help”. Seems like it’s impossible to fill the form. That’s because I don’t have Transaction ID
or Activation URL and the 2 steps authentication wasn’t even possible when the site was created. And without an of those information, I can’t send it. -

The email-address you provided doesn’t work (I hid it). I got response when I tried to send mail: “Remote server returned ‘550 5.1.1 <(email visible only to moderators and staff)>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table’
Could you please check if it’s been changed recently etc?
