cannot make portrait photos 1024 wide

    Hi there, if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it!

    My theme is Twenty Ten with no sidebar. I have altered the CSS so that the min width and max width of the page is 1200px, so I am publishing my landscape photos at 1024px wide. The only problem is, wordpress won’t let me upload a portrait photo that is 1024 wide, it automatically re-sizes it to 684 wide and 1024 high – which looks terrible!

    Does anyone know how to override this?

    Go back to the CSS page and make sure that in “CSS settings” down below the edit window that the maximum width is set at 1024.

    Limit width to ___ pixels for videos, full size images, and other shortcodes.

    Make sure and save the changes afterward.
