Cannot "Manage Blog Subscriptions"
-
For the past couple of days I have been trying to manage my blog subscriptions. I click on the “Manage Blog Subscriptions” button and I’m taken to a page that should list the blogs I’m subscribed to. However, the list is blank. Yet, I am subscribed to 3 blogs which show updated entries in my “Subscription” page. I have tried this on IE, Firefox, and Chrome with the same results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

- You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date.
- If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of flash.
The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. There may be problems with your web host. Check for known issues with your ISP and/or with your web host.

Thank you timethief for your suggestions. Unfortunately, those don’t seem to be the problem.
– my Flash is at version 10.2.152.26 (current)
– my ISP (RoadRunner) doesn’t have any known issues right now
– my webhost is WordPress. My blog is at shrikale.wordpress.comLooks like I will have to keep searching. I do appreciate your feedback very much.

Oh! One more thing if it wasn’t clear in my original post. I am able to “Read My Subscriptions”. Just the “Manage My Subscriptions” isn’t returning any data.
Thanks again :)

I have the exact same problem as well!
I just started my blog today. At first I could add new blog subscriptions but then I accidentally closed the page. When I reopened the page I could not see the box for entering blog urls for adding new subscriptions. However I could see the blogs that I had already added. Any ideas what’s wrong? I’ve already read this FAQ which didn’t help with this problem: http://en.support.wordpress.com/subscriptions/
TIA

I have a similar problem: I can neither read nor manage my subscriptions. When I try to read my subscriptions it says “nothing to read,” and when I try to manage them, it just comes up blank.
I’m running Chrome and Flash is up to date.

Update: I’ve tried to “Manage My Subscriptions” on multiple machines & networks (friend’s house, work computer, etc.) to check if my ISP was at fault. It doesn’t look like that is the case. I cannot perform the function anywhere.

Please try this first.
- You could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
- Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
- You could try upgrading your browser.
- You could try using another browser.
If that does not work then those who are experiencing this issue need to submit support tickets directly to Staff by using this link. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
Do be aware that the more detail you provide in the support ticket the better. By providing all details up front you avoid creating a back and forth exchange by email just so Staff can get the information they need to start to isolate and address your issue.

Update: FIX
Hello All. I’ve fixed my problem. I went to each blog that I subscribed to (on WordPress) and unsubscribed from them. As soon as I did that my “Manage My Subscriptions” started to work. I guess if all else fails, reboot right?
Try it & let me know if that works for you as well.

Thanks timethief for your helpful tips but I’ve already tried those and it still doesn’t work for whatever reason. I can’t even unsubscribe to the blogs because there is no “x” beside each blog. I can’t seem to access that page anymore. ‘
Anyway, I do like everything about WordPress but trying to fix this one feature is proving to be more annoying than it’s worth so I’ve long started using Bloglovin to read all the blogs that I’ve subscribed to. No loading problems and an overall nicer interface.
Thanks for all the tips everyone!
