cannot manage plugins by wordpress.com desktop

    I often use the wordpress.com desktop on my computer to manage the theme media and plugins. This software is very good. But yesterday, I did 3 things:
    1) change the php version from 5.6 to 7.4 ( wordpress said my php is too old) 2)updated wordpress to newest 5.2 version
    3) Updated my wordpress.com desktop to the newest 4.1.0 version

    But,,,,,then I find that I only can use the wordpress.com desktop to manage the media and post. When I try to manage the themes and plugins, it always shows
    “Looking to manage this site’s plugins?
    We need you to enable the Manage feature in the Jetpack plugin on your remote site”

    I am sure I installed the Jetpack on my site and it is connected well with my wordpress account. I spent 2 days and tried all ways, yet still cannot fix it.

    I am having the same issue with the same message. And because I cannot manage my plugins, I cannot use my plugins for my photo oriented website: chasethebluedot.com
