Cannot map a .ca to WordPress
-
I’m having major headaches trying to get WordPress to map my .ca domain from my domain.com
robinhall.ca
Can someone help me? I see other users on here are needing support to manually set up a zone in order for it to be possible. WordPress won’t let me spend the 19$ to buy the plan either.
Cheers, please help.

Hello there,
I can see the domain robinhall.ca is being mapped to WordPress.com ok.
The issue I see here is that the site was on the business plan, which has now been removed – was this done intentionally?
If yes, it looks like https://sixdegreesofseparationcom.wpcomstaging.com has not yet been fully downgraded.
In order to downgrade your site, we must revert it back to the point when you installed your first plugin or custom theme.
Your site’s content, theme, and customizations, such as widgets and menus, will return to the state they were before upgrading to the business plan. This process will also remove all plugins and custom themes, as well as any content added through them, and you will no longer be able to add plugins or custom themes to this site unless you upgrade again in the future.
Would you like to continue?

Yes I’d love to downgrade! I upgraded to business for a few months in order to point it to WordPress. That would be great!

https://robinh147927507.wordpress.com/ has been fully downgraded now.
The domain can now be mapped by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/
