Cannot not see notifications in Opera browser
-
I have not been able to see my site notifications in Opera browser (adblocks are disabled).
-
Hi there!
Could you please let us know a little bit more about that? You do not see the notifications popups, the notification bar never shows any or the notification list won’t load?
Does this happen to all your WordPress.com sites or just some of them? -
Update: when I click on the bell in the top right corner, nothing loads in the pop down menu. I just get a spinning circle animation.
However, If I open up the stats and insights page, the bell notification list works.

Oh interesting. Can you let us know what browser you’re using, and whether you see the same thing in another browser?
I wonder if you need to allow scripts from WordPress.com while visiting your site. Some browsers have settings along those lines. Also, when did this start?

Hi there,
I tested both versions of Opera on a Windows 10 (v 1909) Pro 64-bit computer and I was able to open the notifications, read them, and interact.
Can you please try the following?
* Clear the cache:
* Check that JavaScript is enabled:
* Disable any ad-blocking and security extensions
If all of the above doesn’t work or you have more questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help!
