cannot pay domain name renewal

  Our auto domain renewal did not work and our domain is now expired, when I try to pay the renewal I keep getting told that I do not have any upgrades and it send me back to the upgrades page, if I try and go through domains I end up in the same spot. Can you please help me sort this out.

  sounds like you have a classic, logged in with the wrong account – is there another account that might have been used to purchase the upgrade??

  I am having the same issue. I don’t understand how I can be logged in under the wrong account when I have access to the rest of the blog. I can’t reach someone at wordpress to help me– I am just being told I’m in the wrong account.

  The blog I’m trying to renew is patientanddisciplinedinvestor.com.

  Sorry for the frustration! The account you’re currently signed into is not an administrator or owner of patientanddisciplinedinvester.com. If it were, you would see the option to renew under:

  wordpress.com/my-upgrades

  The account that has those privileges is the one that has always owned, purchased and renewed the domain and upgrades on that site.

  Beyond this, we can help you further by email, if you’re unable to remember the other account, but have access to its email, by sending us a message at help@wordpress.com we can help you recover the account.
