Cannot put image captioning in center alignment

I am still really new on wordpress (just getting around here literally a few days ago) and currently on the free plan. I can’t seem to put my image caption on center, it’s always aligned on the left no matter what I do. I have changed themes multiple times, 10 times maybe more and this problem persists. So I don’t know if it’s a theme-related problem or it’s really a bug, but it’s really frustrating.
I have looked around and people on forums say that you should edit the CSS, but I am on a free plan thus can’t do that. Isn’t there any solution for users on the free plan or this really basic feature of aligning image caption on the center is just reserved for premium users only?

After trying out more than 12 different free themes, I finally found one that allowed the caption to be centered (Bussiness Theme). So for that particular theme, the captioning problem is solved, but for other themes, it still persists. Now that I found one that works, I don’t think I am going to change the theme for a while.
I hope WordPress can solve it for others. Thanks.

Thank you. I took a quick look and oddly most of the themes you had chosen were several years old, so I’m guessing there’s something that’s changed since they were made. I’ll let the theme team know so they can address it.

Just to update you, it looks like they’re aware of an issue with older themes and will be going through them to update and support image blocks properly. Thanks for your feedback here!
