Cannot read property 'upload' of undefined Try another file or contact support.

    I have exported a word press 4.6 .1 site from another host. When I attempt to import it to a newly created word press site, I mean really get the message ‘Cannot read property ‘upload’ of undefined. Try another file or contact support.’ I am very new to WordPress, and am hoping for an easy fix, rather than a complex workaround.

    Hi @lisadparsons, it sounds like the file may be too big or may be in the wrong format. Can you remove any unmoderated and spam comments, and then try making your export once more?

    If that sill doesn’t work, I’ll have you send the file so we can take a look.
