Cannot recover my account – Transaction and receipt IDs are not working
-
Hello! I recently realized that I’ve forgotten the email address associated with one of our company’s WordPress sites. However, I do have a transaction ID and a receipt ID since we have access to incoming invoices.
Each time I try to recover the account by providing these IDs, I receive an error message stating: “The receipt does not appear to be valid.” I’ve double-checked and entered the IDs correctly, but the issue persists.
Unfortunately, I don’t have two-factor authentication enabled, nor do I have an activation URL or key.
Is there any way I can recover the account using the information I do have? I’d appreciate any guidance you can provide.
Thank you!

Hi there, hopefully you’ve gotten an email, but if not, could you provide some more information.
Is eq-elipse.com the site in question? If not, please mention the relevant site URL so we can make sure that you are inquiring in the correct place. Thanks.

I had this issue recently when I tried to recover an account. I kept trying and realised I was entering the reference instead of the transaction ID. It said “WORDPRESS” and then the transaction ID. I hope it helps.
