cannot recover my alternate email address login

I am trying to recover my login under my alternate email address: (email visible only to moderators and staff) however every time I click forgot password, I do not get a link to recover. I believe someone is using my email address falsely. Please help to assist to reclaim my email address.

I have tried to the regular process in which I click forgot password but I do not get a recovery link. I believe someone is using my email as a secondary email so I am not getting the link.
I am using my old wordpress account to try and resolve this issue and only discovered this when I tried to add my email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) as a secondary recovery email and an error message popped up. Please assist.

I see you are able to log in to your WordPress.com account, so you should be able to access the site you see listed there. Is the issue with a different site than the ones you see listed
Is it possible you created your site under a different login that we are not able to see? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

I am speaking specifically to my email (email visible only to moderators and staff), not (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I am not able to add (email visible only to moderators and staff) as a secondary email to my primary email OR log in with the above email or request a password reset to find out what sites are under this login.
I do not recall ever making one specifically for (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Therefore, I believe that someone is falsely using my email as their own.

You can send yourself a login link to access the other account by entering your email address here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Once you do that, you can visit the inbox for that email account (the one associated with the WordPress.com login) and you will see an email with a link to access the account. From there you can see what sites are associated with it by going here: https://wordpress.com/sites/
Please note that to visit your other account you must first log out of this one. You can do that here: https://wordpress.com/me/account/ Once you log out of @banchagi, when you click the login link (in the email we send you) it will log you in as the other account.

I tried that and it doesn’t send me a link. I have checked my spam box as well. I believe that that the emails are going to a different primary address of someone not associated with me.

If someone is able to falsely use your email as their own, it means they have full access to your email and also your computer, smartphone, …
So start by scanning your device for malware, spyware, …
Next step: change the password of your email to a really strong password and if available, activate Two Step Authentication.

I checked with Play Protect and I don’t have any malware. I think you are not understanding my issue. I have a wordpress account with my email login; (email visible only to moderators and staff). I tried to add (email visible only to moderators and staff) as my secondary email. It gave me an error message. So then I tried using (email visible only to moderators and staff) and it says there is already an existing account, so I tried going through the steps to get a “forgot password” link. It does not send me a link.
Please assist by manually sending me a “forgot password” link or removing any associated accounts pertaining to (email visible only to moderators and staff) on WordPress. I can verify that I am the user and owner of this email if support can send a link or code, however as mentioned before; I am not getting one which makes me think that someone is falsely using my email on WordPress.

Answer: Yes, I have already tried this link multiple times. I am not getting an email in my inbox or spam mail to request reset.
It’s not possible to add a secondary email address to a WordPress.com account, is there an additional site at play perhaps?
Answer: Yes it is. In the “Security” tab, I was trying to add it as my secondary “recovery email” and it would give me an error message.

Got it; so you are completing the password reset form for the email address “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” but you never receive an email in your inbox or spam with password reset instructions. I wonder if Yahoo is blocking those to your account for some reason. That’s frustrating.
Have you checked the inbox and spam for that email address to see if there were ever any emails sent from us at WordPress.com? What I’m wondering is if perhaps there is an old email from us with an activation URL or key that can be used here to help you regain access to the site. Let us know what you do/don’t find so we can continue trying to help you out with this. Thanks so much for your patience and perseverance.

Hello. I have looked through old emails as you suggested and the only thing that came up was when I helped run a website and received an activation link on Feb 1, 2017. Here is the old link:

Yes, you can access the old account again, and close it by following the steps here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/
Since you have access to the email address associated with that account (it is one of the ones you have mentioned so far) you can send yourself a login link by entering the correct email here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

I already mentioned that I am NOT getting the link to login or reset my password even though I have tried multiple times. I have checked my spam box as well. As mentioned previously, can you please manually send me a link?

Manually sending a link won’t solve the problem as they are also send from a wordpress.com email address. My best guess is to contact your email provider support to know if and why they block emails send from wordpress.com; also ask them to unblock emails send from wordpress.com.
