Cannot redeclare wordpress_importer_init()

    HI, my church has a wordpress site (online.rcac.ca) hosted on 1and1.com. Just started today, we could not access it anymore, and saw this error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wordpress_importer_init() (previously declared in …./wordpress-importer.php:1123) in …./wordpress-importer.php on line 1217

    Earlier of the day, it showed a different error about login attempt.

    When we looked at folders and files, many of them have today or last night as the modified date and time.

    We did not touch any files ourselves recently, so wondered what may have caused this. Would an auto-failed attempt cause this?

    Hey there, you’ve posted your question in the support forums for sites hosted by WordPressdotcom, but your above site appears to be using the standalone WP (org) software.
