Cannot register a username

  Hello,

  I want to create a wordpress account with a new domain name; however, I cannot register the name in my mind. Although it is not in use, I am not offered that name as free, even as a premium account. What can be the reason?

  Username accounts are not deleted and you cannot register one that someone else has registered. Read:

  Because you had registered a sirjohnelt.wordpress.com blog, so the username “sirjohnelt” is already reserved, so you can’t register it yourself.

  I am talking about another account of course :) when I search that domain name, it says that page does not exist.
