Cannot reimport

  I have an active Tumblr blog that I reimport every few months in order to get a mirror of the content there. In the past, this has worked without issue. Recently, though, the “Finished!” indicator has not gone away, thus preventing me from importing any new posts. I tried leaving Tumblr disconnected for a few days before reconnecting, but this did not fix the issue.

  If this is intended behavior, if and when will I be able to import again? If not, is it possible to make it so that I can reimport from that blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello @ashtreeln

  It looks like there was a stalled Tumblr import. I have cleared that from the WordPress.com site. Please would you try running your import again and let me know if it works for you.

  Reopening my existing thread instead of making a new one. It seems that I have an import that’s stuck/hanging, and if I could have it force-reset, that would be very helpful :) Thank you in advance

  Note that this is likely going to be an ongoing issue as your Tumblr blog becomes larger and larger over time.

  Instead, you may want to download the blog as a zip and store it locally for safe keeping

  It appears to have gotten stuck again o7 Apologies that it’s a recurring issue, if I could reset it myself I gladly would

  I’m aware of the export option! I have gotten exports of my blogs via TumblThree, but I use WordPress as an online mirror of the content.

  I’ve reset the importer again; thanks for your patience!

  Do you mainly import here so you have a public copy of the content for any followers here, is this more for backup purposes?
