cannot remove an old site from 'My Sites'
-
One of the websites I manage has been moved to be managed by someone else
Unfortunately he moved the site before I was able to disconnect it from my worpress.com account and now I no longer have the opions of disconnecting it (I no longer see a ‘Settings’ box when I look at that site in the list of ‘My sites’)
Is there any other way of disassociating my account from a website apart from using ‘Site – Settings – Manage your connection -> Disconnect from WordPress’?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks for the reply :)
Unfortunately not, I have full access/control over that one
It is the http://foundationclub.org.uk one that has been moved to be managed by someone else

Looking at the domain you gave us (http://foundationclub.org.uk), I see that this is not hosted on WordPress.com, but on Viva Cloud. What this tells us is that the person who is managing your transfered site is a WordPress.org user, not a WordPress.com user.
This forum is dedicated only to the websites hosted on WordPress.com.
WordPress.org is the self-hosted version of WordPress.com. To learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, check this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The support forums for WordPress.org can be found here: https://wordpress.org/support/. Feel free to follow the link and create a new support request, like you did here.
Also, I guess the site doesn’t appear anymore under your WordPress.com account because it was migrated outside of WordPress.com, from what you are telling us.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if I understood things wrong or if you have any more information that would us get a better understanding of what’s happening, but if it’s a WordPress.org website, as I said, you should create a new support request on the WordPress.org Forums thought I understand that your questions is somehow related to your WordPress.com account too.

Hi gordonh200670
If you purchased a domain name via wordpress.com then it can be removed by one of the moderators. I have tagged the thread for one of the staffs to help you remove the domain.
Cheers.

Apologies, I didn’t realise this forum was just for domains purchased via wordpress.com
I had followed the hyperlink direct from wordpress.com help where the Jetpack Plugin was adding the http://foundationclub.org.uk domain to the list of My Sites
It is the list of sites that appears on wordpress.com that I am having the problem with

Howdy –
gordonh200670, you’re trying to remove foundationclub.org.uk from the My Sites tab on WordPress.com, is that right?
-
Hi lizkarkoski
Yes I am
It’s not a wordpress domain but like all my other websites it uses WordPress and the Jetpack Plugin
This is the only site where I do not have full permissions (i.e. there is no settings options) otherwise I could easily remove it
I have the full settings options on every other site
-
Good morning –
I’ve removed you as a user on that site. It’s no longer listed on the My Sites tab. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.
