Cannot Renew Domain Mapping

    I’m unable to pay to renew my domain mapping.

    I’m logged in with the correct account and can see my last domain mapping payment in my WordPress account’s billing history. However, “Domain Mapping” isn’t an available item in my Purchases list so I can’t pay for the renewal.

    Please help, I need to get this sorted out as soon as possible.

    Hi there,

    The domain mapping upgrade for arcaroboxing.com belongs to the username, smashfacekid, another admin on your site.

    In the past it was possible to renew upgrades owned by other users on the same site, but since last year we no longer allow that. smashfacekid will need to log into their account to renew the upgrade, or if you should manage the upgrade going forward, they can comment in this thread to give me permission to move the upgrade over to your account.

    Thanks for confirming. I’ve transferred the domain mapping upgrade for arcaroboxing.com to the arcaroboxinggym account.

    If you want to transfer ownership of the site itself, please click the Transfer Blog link on this page:

    https://arcaroboxing.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs

    That will transfer the site to arcaroboxinggym’s account and remove you as a user, so Tricia will need to invite you again if you still need access to the site.

    I notice you already have a Custom Design and a VideoPress upgrade on that site. Along with the domain mapping, all your upgrades on that site now cost more in total than the Premium Plan, which contains a extra storage, No Ads and live chat support in addition to the upgrades you already have.

    I want to recommend that, instead of just renewing the Mapping and then renewing the other two upgrades in April, that you switch over to the Premium Plan now by purchasing it from My Site ->Plans. You should be able to buy it for just $79 due to your existing upgrades, and then all three your current upgrades will renew at the same time along with the additional features being added.

    If you decide to buy Premium and the system charges you the full cost of $99, let me know and I’d be happy to refund the $20 you should have been discounted.

    Please go to My Site ->Plans and purchase Premium there. Then let me know and I’ll make sure on this end that your upgrades are converted correctly and that you haven’t been over-charged.

    Note that you might need to re-do customizations to your theme after upgrading, so if you have any custom CSS just copy that into a Notepad file as a backup, just in case.

    I see you weren’t offered the discounted cost, so I’ve gone ahead and also refunded you $20. You should receive that in about 10 business days.
