cannot renew domain name

keep trying to renew the site after seeing this:
Uh oh! Your blog’s domain chicagotimeexchange.com expired 6 days ago!
am a site administrator, go to pay and renew for mapping and registration, then tells me after processing that i cannot do it becaues it already exists. please help!

Please log into the dashboard http://chicagotimeexchange.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the domain mapping upgrade to upgrade and enable auto-renew status to assure that the domain doesn’t expire.

Thank you for responding. The domain has expired, but it is still in the grace period. I have tried the steps you suggested to no avail. Hopefully, one of the Moderator/Staff people can point me in the right direction.

I’m sure Staff will be able to assist you. However, it’s the weekend so you will have to be patient while waiting.

You will need to be logged in as the owner of the domain to renew it.
The domain is owned by an administrator on the blog named Jami, and that’s all we can reveal here.
Once Jami logs in, Jami can renew the domain.
