Cannot save changes to pages.

I tried to edit the content of one of the tabbed pages on my blog. When I tried to save the changes, I got a message, “Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?”
Thanks ~

What did you do then, and what happened? Also, which page are we talking about and what should we see when we look there?

[What did you do then, and what happened?]
I pushed cancel first and I was brought back to the edit page. When I pushed OK to continue, I was brought back to the unedited page.
[Also, which page are we talking about and what should we see when we look there?]
I was trying to edit my policies page; the URL is http://acceptancewithjoy.wordpress.com/comment-policy/
Again thanks for your time.

What was the change you were trying to make? Sometimes this is a caching issue and we can see the change but you can’t?

Interestingly on my Dashboard, under the “Your Stuff” widget, it does indicate that my most recent activity is ‘Policies (Edit)’ wanted to edit the comment, “Legitimate comments that include links to commercial sites will be edited and the links will be removed.”
I had decided that I didn’t want to edit other peoples comments. So, I have emailed commenters who have left links to sites selling products, books or e-books inviting them to resubmit the comment without a link. I want to change my policy and then announce it formally in a blog entry.
I think I wrote something along the lines of, “Legitimate comments that include links to commercial sites will be removed. I don’t use my blog for financial gain and you can’t either.”

This is what I see:
# Linking to a commercial site is by far the most common type of spam that others attempt to post to my blog; therefore, comments that contain hyperlinks will be held until I have time to approve them.
# Legitimate comments that include links to commercial sites will be edited and the links will be removed. -
Have you done the Cookie Dance? I think this is a caching issue.
Cookie Dance:
Delete browser cache and cookies and do a forced reload of the page.

If it’s not that, I’ve noticed a weird thing where that box sometimes pops up, but I thought it was just my system. I think it may be the left pinkie striking the wrong key. But if you hit cancel it’ll keep you on the page with the edits you just made. Keep going until it’s the way you want, Select everything in the Write box (Control A on my computer) copy it (control C) then, while it’s still highlighted, click Save. Sometimes that works. If not, you’ve got the version you want on your clipboard. If necessary, you can delete the page and start over by just pasting the copy.

Good. Glad to hear this is resolved, although strange we couldn’t find out the cause. I just had a page publish, then edited it to add categories, then saw that the new categories were there, then they vanished. Re-added successfully.
Last time something like that happened we had a datacentre problem, where the servers were not all in unison and your blog would appear to go “back in time” for awhile. The changes eventually showed up. Hope we’re not in for another round of that!
