Cannot save in Block editor.

    I wanted to see what the Block Editor is like, since I’ll likely be forced to move there eventually (against my will). But every time I try to write in the new Block Editor, and I hit Save Draft, a red banner appears that says ‘This cannot be saved’. Even before that happens, I find the Block Editor generally to be very frustrating and counter intuitive compared to the classic editor. I had no problems with the Classic editor and I hope it stays available forever. But in the meantime, why can I not save in the Block editor?

    On what site is this?

    Please check if logging out of your account, completely deleting all WordPress.com cookies in your browser, as well as the browser cache, and then logging back in makes any difference.

    I am hating the block editor and the new layout/system…..almost impossible for me to use it so I may well give up with WordPress now. Definitely NOT a change for the better.
