Cannot save or preview post while writing draft

  I have never seen this problem before.

  I am in the middle of writing a post and would like to save my work. The button for this is usually on the screen. It’s not there anymore. I would also like to preview the draft before posting. That button has disappeared as well.

  Have I accidently changed a dashboard setting? Am I the only one with this problem?

  How weird! That sounds like a browser related issue.

  Do not log-in on the front page of WordPress.com. Do not create posts here > http://wordpress.com/#!/post/

  Instead I recommend you ONLY log-in directly you your own blog and ONLY create posts and edit them here > Dashboard > Posts > Add New

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

  If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache:

  http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

  3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

  Hi TT!
  I first noticed the problem using the latest version of Chrome. Just went into the draft and cannot see the preview or save draft buttons in Firefox 19.0.2. I don’t want to try using IE.
  I’ll try to get to your other suggestions and get back to you.

  Hi TT,
  You can mark this as resolved!
  I must have hit some toggle switch that closed off the Publish box. That hides all the buttons I was looking for! Upon opening, everything is there. Thanks for your support,
