Cannot save or publish drafts

    Hi Varsha, Every time I attempt to write and draft for a future publication or publish any article already drafted, WordPress will not let me. I get the following reply: ‘Updating failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.’

    What in the world is going on? I need an expert. This started last night, and in my 7+ years with WordPress, has never happened before. The page where publications are drafted has been changed. Perhaps this is a factor, but it worked fine prior to last night. Thank you.

    Can you try logging out and back in again? That should sort out the issue you are encountering.
