Cannot see all media files when creating/amending posts

  I Use Filebird for my media management in WP and have lots of folders and sub folders containing thousands of images.
  When I look at my media in the ‘Media’ from the left side admin panel I see (in classic view) all the folders and all the images within etc.
  (We are an image based site, Photo club)
  Today when I went in to create a new post and add an image it only shows me a few images to choose from and but know access to my Filebird media folders.
  Also I cannot relate the images I can select from to any specific time, they appear as a random selection
  Any help please.
