cannot see blog using my own domain instead of WP addy but only affects my pc.

  Hi, I have a weird problem. I am not sure what I did, but from my own computer I cannot see my personal domain but I can view my blog under the wordpress domain. I run firefox, tried it in IE…ew… and even downloaded Chrome. No matter the browser it says it cannot find the server. Everyone else can see my blog, but I still can’t. I cleared the cache, deleted the history/cookies, checked proxy settings, firewall, blocked sites and added it to my list of always allowed sites. Please help :(

  That’s strange, I can see your site perfectly fine. Are you able to visit your site from another computer on the same location? Are you able to visit your dashboard?

  Yes, it’s really strange! I can’t see it from my own computer, but I can from any other phone computer. I am also able to access my dashboard and write a post, but just not preview or view it…

  DNS cache flushed and it still doesn’t load. :(

  For anyone else that has this problem and is doing a DNS flush…
  If command prompt returns an error for “higher elevation”
  Go to:
  All Programs, Accessories, right click Command Prompt and click Run as administrator.

  Haha, of course I have tried that. But I just put up another post and since then I’ve magically been able to view my site…

  and I have not made any changes other than what was talked about above.

  I’m not sure what fixed it, but I sincerely thank you for your attentiveness to this.
