Cannot see button to auto-update WP from 3.3.1 to 3.4.2!!!

    Hi all,
    I have 2 sites in WP Italian 3.3.5, the second one is a modified copy of the first one.
    On the modified copy, I went to the update page where I found both the new Italian 3.4.2 version and the English one.
    I clicked on the auto-update Italian button and WP updated successfully.

    On the original site, I went to the update page and WP shows me only the English 3.4.2 update…. no Italian update present!!!!!!! There is no button to update the Italian version (released on Sep, 9th).

    Is there some sort of “update cache” somewhere on the disk or on the DB? Why I cannot see the Italian 3.4.2 version?
    I’d prefer not to manually update until it’s the only possibility left.

    Any idea?!?
