Cannot See Child Theme In FTP Client or themes folder in commandprompt

  Hi,

  I am trying to add a .php file to my child theme that i am able to view and edit on wordpress yet when i go to my ftp client or via SSH client on command prompt I am unable to locate the child theme. It displays all other themes that i have except the one i am after.

  Hi,

  I am trying to add a .php file to my child theme however when i go into my FTP client or SSH client via the command prompt, i am unable to find the correct child theme folder, even though i am able to edit it and view it on my wordpress account.

  Hi,

  I am trying to add a .php to my child theme however I am unable to locate it via FTP or SSH client. Not sure what to do as I can edit and view it fine on my wordpress account. The problem is on my other wordpress account hosted with linode

  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  Hey @cevkorn, are you looking in wp-content/themes ? That’s where it will go, alongside its parent theme.

  If you aren’t seeing it there, could you contact your host for assistance?

  Hi,

  Yes i found it, for some reason it was under a different name than what it was showing on wordpress. Also sorry for the multiple posts here, (not sure how to delete them) just wasn’t sure if it went through or not as it wasn’t coming up when i searched initially on the forum.
