cannot see comments

  comments are showing as 3 on blog site but in ‘pending comments’ they are not showing up.

  Hi there,

  Is this for https://psuwineandgrapes.wordpress.com/?

  I can see 82 pending comments for that site at https://wordpress.com/comments/pending/psuwineandgrapes.wordpress.com

  If a comment is already visible on a post, you won’t see it under Pending in the comments section, but under Approved. The Pending folder only contains comments that have been left by visitors but that you haven’t approved yet, so they’re not visible on the post itself yet.

  As soon as a pending comment is approved, it becomes visible on the post and is removed from the Pending folder.

  The 82 comments are not related to the current post. They are from old posts. The 3 for the current post are not visible.

  Now I go back and it is not showing any comments. I am going to post another article tomorrow and will see if it happens again.
