Cannot see posts in my imported site

  I was hosting a blog on wordpress.org and I wanted to move it on wordpress.com.
  So I followed the instructions on https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/view-all/
  Everything seemed to go smoothly:
  – I exported the old blog onto an XML file
  – I created a new site at wordpress.com
  – I imported the XML file
  – I can see that there are posts when I go to the admin page
  – But when I open my new site: https://dssfchainletter.wordpress.com all I can see is the template home page and for the life of me I don’t see where the posts are

  And I can’t figure out how to remove that home page and add a page that would link to the posts
  Am I missing something obvious?

  I see that your blog is no longer available.
  In the future, if you followed the instructions provided here and still faced the issue, please add the moodlook tag to the post and the staff member will assist you.

  Hi @skipiczeljko your reply to the user was caught in the forum spam filter.

  If your reply disappears after you hit the Submit button, give it a moment and then hard refresh the page. If it still doesn’t appear, you can add both the MODLOOK and “volunteer in spam” tags to the thread. Someone will come to fish you out. Cheers!

  Hi, thanks for you responses

  I actually solved the problem by indeed deleting completely the blog and set up a new one as a proper blog (instead of a web site as I had selected for the first one)
  it was still strange to me that I could see the posts page in the admin section but it was grayed out and I couldn’t do anything about it
