Cannot set a header image in the Ryu theme

I’ve been using Ryu for a while now. Never had any problems. Today I was tweaking in the Customizer. I disabled the header image just to see how would the site look without my face in the circle. When I enabled it again, it just wouldn’t stay! Whenever I select a photo as header from the “Suggested” and click on Save, it doesn’t get saved. It doesn’t appear on the blog. I tried uploading a new image entirely from my computer. This time the theme set the ENTIRE image as a header. (642×642) It took over my entire screen. I tried changing to a different theme and switching back to Ryu. Still didn’t work. What am I missing? I want it to look like a small image in a circle. That is a trademark feature of Ryu. Never had this problem when I first activated it. That time, I just choose an image and it was set.

Coincidentally, what I think is the same issue in Ryu was fixed just a few hours ago, after another user reported it.

If you’d like to give it a go again and let us know if adding/replacing the Gravatar/header image works as expected in Ryu, that would be great!
