Cannot Set Up Jetpack
-
Whenever I try to finish setting up Jetpack, I get this error message: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate
This is not the only issue I have been having between my new site and my WordPress account. I created my WordPress account a few years ago. I use Bluehost for my domain hosting and set up my first site through Bluehost and it connected to WordPress no problem. I recently purchased a second domain and created a WordPress site through Bluehost again like the first time, logging in using the same WordPress account as my first site. My WordPress profile appears as the administrator and I can log in using my WordPress account. But, I cannot connect to Jetpack (see the original error message I receive), and my new site does not appear in my site list when I am on my WordPress dashboard. My first site is connected to Jetpack and does appear on my site list. The new site is up and running and active in all other respects. How can I connect this new site to Jetpack and have it appear on my site list on my WordPress profile?

Hi there!
It sounds like there’s an issue with the security certificate on your domain. Try reaching out to Bluehost about it, see if they can help.
If the SSL certificate is installed correctly and you’re still unable to connect Jetpack, you can post more details (don’t forget your site’s address) directly on their support forums: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/.
