Cannot share new post to Facebook or Twitter

    I have just published a new post, but Facebook and Twitter are not recognising the URL. When the Facebook sharing debugger scrapes the URL, it keeps returning a URL ending in ‘sp_post_date’ as the canonical URL, instead of the post’s actual URL. When I click on the sharing widget at the bottom of my post’s page so I can post it to Twitter, Twitter does not show any of the post’s own metadata (e.g. title or image) in the card it creates for the post. I have had trouble getting Facebook to recognise featured images from this wordpress.com site before but have never had it completely fail to scrape a URL after more than an hour.
