Cannot share posts to google site publicly
-
I have changed the app settings on my google+ site to share publicly, but they still only share privately.
WordPress is the front end of my publications – so it needs to connect with other services.
Do you know why this is happening?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
The connection between your WordPress.com site and your Google + account is active, and working well.
However, if your posts are only appearing privately on the Google + side, it means you need to adjust your settings there.
If you’ve already changed your settings at Google + by going to Settings > Manage apps & activities, you may need to contact their support directly.
As mentioned on our support document, and as you may have seen: If your account is a manager for a Google+ page, when you connect, you’ll be offered a choice of connecting to your profile or page(s). Make sure that you’ve set that up to publish to the profile or page you’ve made public.
Please let me know if Google gives you advice that we can assist you with.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Thanks Robyn,
As is usually the case with tech support, I worked out the problem in the mean time.I had set the WordPress app preferences in Google+ Business Settings > Apps & activities > Manage apps & activities > Apps to public, but since I had another page that Google was also connected to, it did not work until I removed that connection, reconnected WordPress to the main page, and set the share permissions to public.
Thank you for your swift response. I hope this helps others with problems similar to mine. I am happy ;)
