Cannot Sign In

I keep trying to comment on the Pro Football Talk page, but I just get a never-ending cycle of clicking the ‘must be logged in’ link which leads me to WordPress which leads to an email link to log in which just takes me back to a WordPress page without any other log in instructions. I am using my phone (iPhone 8) so just wondering if that has anything to do with it or if anyone has experienced this problem at all. Thx.

Does this happen only on that one site or are you having trouble commenting on WordPress.com sites in general? What’s the full address of the site you mentioned?
What browser do you use on your mobile?
Have you tried if you have the same issue on a different device? -

I did have the same issue on my old iPhone as well, but didn’t really pursue it. On this new iPhone, I had the same issue to start. Then one day it worked (don’t know what, if anything, I did differently), but it hasn’t worked for me again since.
I am currently on Safari 12.4 and this is the only WordPress site that I know of that I use.

Yes, I can replicate the issue – I was not able to log into my WordPress.com on https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com using Safari on my iPhone 7. However, I was able to log in fine using the Chrome mobile browser.
I’ll look further into this, but if you have Chrome, I would use it to comment on the site in the meantime. Let me know if that works for you.

Oh ok, thanks. I actually just tried it–downloaded the Chrome app and opened up the PFT page, but still having the same issue. I’ll give it another look later when I have more time, but thanks for the tip!

No problem – keep me updated! Also, if you haven’t already, you can download the WordPress mobile app, login into your account, and comment on that site that way – it may be the easiest method.
