Cannot sign in. Two step authentication. Help needed.

I am writing this via the wordpress app as I am unable to sign into my blog on my mac. I use 2 step authentication using the google verifier app. My phone recently had some sort of blip and the app updated now it won’t provide me with a code to sign into wordpress. Changing my password makes no difference, wordpress still asks for a code to sign in. I either didn’t print out our have forgotte n what I’ve done with my backup codes wordpress suggests you download. All of this means I am unable to access my blog via my laptop and I don’t fancy administering out via this app long term. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks
