Cannot subscribe to a blog

I have submitted my email address many times but I have never received any notification or acknowledgement of being subscribed to this blog.

Hello again, are you logged in to your WPcom account when you click the sign me up button? If so, that site should show up in your WPcom Reader. Click the link in the upper left corner of your browser window https://wordpress.com/read and then click on the Manage button there.
Does the subscription appear? If it does, you can click on the Settings Icon just below the green Following icon to change your delivery settings to get the posts by email.
You might also want to check that you are not blocking emails from WPcom. You’ll find that setting at https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions under “Block Emails.”
If you were logged out and subscribed with an email address (not the one associated with this WPcom account), check your email programs spam folder to make sure the confirmation email didn’t end up there.
