Cannot type post beyond 731 words
-
Specifically, I hit return to begin a new paragraph after 731 words and nothing moved. I tried hitting return in earlier places in the post and nothing budged. I was able to type letters where I randomly inserted the cursor, but otherwise I seem to have been cut off from more vertical space. I’m using Cutline theme. This was a post draft, but I’ve since published it to see if that made a difference, and it didn’t….any thoughts? Thanks!

Thank you for verifying you are blogging here at wordpress.com
Sounds like a browser issue I recommend deleting your browser cookies
and clear your browser cache then restart your browser.Sorry for the late reply and hope that fixes
the issue you’re having with the editor. If the recommendation doesn’t clear up the
issue feel free to let the forum volunteers
know. = ) -
Thank you. I tried clearing everything but the problem remains. Incidentally, I wasn’t able to expand the post edit window this morning by dragging the bottom right corner either.
By the way, I made this a favorite then subscribed to the RSS and I still haven’t been able to find access to this thread except by going to forums and searching by key term. Where are the links to access one’s favorites or RSS feeds?
Thanks again for your help.

You’re welcome for the help thanks for saying thanks. = )
To be able to access your favorites or threads you
have participated in you simply click on your user
name by the logout link here in the forums. As for the other issue it sounds like you’ll
need to contact staff. so they can check out
the back end components. -

I’ve been having some trouble with the return key too.
It’s a really strange issue, sometimes after making some words bold or inserting an image you can press enter anymore. If you go to your HTML view you see that you’ve got quite some extra <Insert Missing Word Here>:
Text you made bold
Just remove those and type something in the html editor, then go back to the visual editor and start typing again.
I hope the staff reads this so they can fix the issue.

I’ve been having some trouble with the return key too. This has nothing to do with 731 words though.

Incidentally, I can achieve a new line now most of the time by combinations of shift and return; return still doesn’t work. And I had checked the HTML earlier on and all I saw was </em) down the page, presumably for each time I hit return.
-
Then you have encountered the same problem as I did, just type something in your html editor and go back to your normal editor and it should be fixed then. (Remove all the
first of course.) -
-
LOL. I didn’t mean to code the post. That should be <.em.><./.em.> without the periods, repeated down the page, presumably for each time I hit return.
-
I understood that, just delete them all then write something in your html editor then go back to your visual editor and start writing again.
