Cannot un-do verification on blog.

    Have been repeatedly trying to un-do the verification feature on my blog. Have generated numerous ‘backup’ codes and SMS codes. Was not able to log into the blog at all without generating new codes; no code worked twice, and the backup codes did not work. I have to keep requesting a new code on my phone each time I want to log in. So I decided to un-do this annoying feature. Unfortunately, I cannot un-do the verification either. None of the codes work; they get me back to the instructions, and I repeat them over and over. Is there anyone from WP who can advise me on this?

    Just to clarify, did you follow the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/#disabling-two-step-authentication and were unable to get a code that worked after you clicked the disable button?

    If not, could you try that process and see if it works. If not, please report back with exactly what happened when you tried to follow the process, and I’ll tag this thread for staff support so they can send you a code via alternate method.
