Cannot unsubscribe

    Starship Earth: The Big Picture
    Hi. I asked the admin on that site ro remove my e-mail address months ago and I still get her unwanted e-mails. I canNOT unsubscribe from my WordPress acct for some reason. It is not on my subscriptions management page. Can you pls REMOVE this website? http://www.starshipearththebigpicture.com Thank you.

    Hm, that doesn’t appear to be a valid domain name.

    What is the correct URL of the site, and what email address are these being sent to? (if you write the email address normally here, it will be hidden from all but staff)

    Hello macmanx.
    First, forget about the “messagesoflight”.
    My wordpress acct is under (email visible only to moderators and staff) but I used my (email visible only to moderators and staff) address to subscribe to her website, the “starship” address I gave you.
    I don’t remember opening an acct under my gmail address.
    I asked her to remove my address but she either left it or she could not remove it and I have not heard from her and I don’t want to communicate with her.
    Her blog is with WordPress.
    I need (email visible only to moderators and staff) to be removed from her mailing list.
    Pls and thank you in advance.

    First, looks like I forgot to give you my gmail address in my first post.

    I am unable to access that site to confirm if they are using our subscription system or not: https://d.pr/i/dZPkBi

    It is definitely not a site hosted here at WordPress.com, instead it is using the self-hosted WordPress software from WordPress.org.

    To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

    With that said, we do offer a plugin called Jetpack which provides our WordPress.com subscriptions for WordPress.org sites.

    I do see that email is subscribed via Jetpack, so that must be it.

    Since this email address is separate from your WordPress.com account, here’s what you’ll need to do to manage your subscriptions.

    1. Log out of WordPrerss.com at https://wordpress.com/me (this is absolutely crucial).

    2. Visit https://subscribe.wordpress.com

    3. As long as you’re logged out of WordPress.com, you’ll see a field to enter your email address.

    4. You’ll receive an email with a link to manage your subscriptions, and as long as you’re logged out of WordPress.com, just click that. :)

    Alternatively, as long as you’re logged out of WordPress.com, you’ll find a “Manage Subscriptions” link at the bottom of each subscription email that will operate the same way.
