Cannot up grade credit card details

    cannot upgrade credit card details, i have tried many many many many times. This card works fine for lots of other on line transactions. Please sort this out. Fault message= check billing address?????? I am close to the point of giving up as i do not like having to repeatedly enter credit card details on line.

    Hi there, I’m very sorry for the trouble you’re having updating your credit card details. When we try to validate your new credit card details, the bank that issued your credit card is declining it. This can happen for a variety of reasons, although we’re not able to see why. Some of the reasons are:

    • closed credit card account
    • account is over the limit
    • account is past due
    • automated fraud alert

    The last reason above, an automated fraud prevention block, is the most common. Usually you just need to call your bank and let them know you want to make a purchase on WordPress.com, and they can get the block removed right away.

    Can you please get in touch with the bank and then try to update your credit card again?
