Cannot update my theme through wordpress.

  Hello. I used the Striking Theme on my former website. Since then i had to renew the website hosting and start over. It has been a couple of years and the theme i had doesn’t seem to work. the ‘update theme’ button in wordpress doesn’t do anything. I uploaded a newly updated Striking Theme from the website i bought it from and I still cannot upload or activate it in wordpress. Please help.

  What is the site URL? It sounds like you were using the WordPress installation rather than WordPress.com.
