Cannot update poll – “Unable to find poll, 1410”

    I have a poll (actually had a poll) in one of my blog post. I decided to move it to the sidebar. Apparently we can only view polls in a single area (a post or a widget) so I also deleted the poll from the post so that I can see it on the sidebar.

    The problem comes at this point. Now that I first published it in a blog post (picked “plain white – medium”), the poll (when moved to the sidebar) exceeds the sidebar limits. So I wanted to update the poll to “plain white – narrow”. >>> then clicked “save poll” but an error warning appeared.

    The top yellow box reads: “Error: An error has occurred; Poll not updated.”
    Right below it, the red box reads: “Poll – Unable to find poll, 1410 – Poll could not be updated”

    any ideas how I can fit my poll to the sidebar, pls?
