Cannot Upgrade

  I am trying to purchase a business account with wordpress, but it won’t allow me to proceed. After contacting wordpress, they have just replied ‘We reserve the right to limit purchases on WordPress.com sites, and we can not verify your payment information, so payments will not be allowed for this account. Your site is online and you may use it for free for as long as you’d like without upgrades.’

  How do I fix this? As my payment information works on other platforms.
