cannot upload media to my blog

  It sounds very much like there are connection issues here. Can you contact your ISP and make sure they’ve whitelisted WordPress.com?

  Sorry I am no computer genius and do not understand what you are talking about. everything works fine except upload photo’s or other media to a blog.

  If you are having problems uploading images then the most likely causes are:

  * The file size of the image is too large. Perhaps you can resize the image and try to upload it again
  * Your connection is slow. Try a different internet connect to see if you also encounter the issue there.

  no the images are not big, my internet connection is not slow and I did not had any problems until 3 days ago. The images are uploaded to the media library but from there I cannot attach them to any post. User tomatlongacres has the same problem and also think you at wordpress have a bug.

  Could you try turning off Norton Anti-virus/malware? it might be blocking something in your browser.

  how can that be, I always have Norton and everything worked fine….why not looking for a possible bug in wordpress

  Who’s your Internet Service Provider (ISP)?

  Do you also encounter this issue on a different computer on the same internet connection? or have you tried it on a different internet connection.

  @tomatlongacres do you still encounter issues after following all the advice below?

  I do not have another computer and my provider is KPN as always without any problems

  The images are uploaded to the media library but from there I cannot attach them to any post.

  Could you please carefully follow these steps on how to insert an image to your post that you have already uploaded: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/#insert-an-image-you-have-already-uploaded .If that doesn’t work for you, let me know at what exact step things go wrong.

  Also take a look at http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/uploader/ on how to switch between the multi-file and browser uploader.

  this evening when trying again all is working fine again so it was something from WordPress and not my computer. Thank you all for your help.
