cannot upload or preview post

I saw this addressed in another post and have tried suggestion there. Reset Safari, emptied cache. When creating a post, I don’t have buttons to preview or upload the post. Any ideas?
(although I can upload this message, how weird)

You wouldn’t have a button to upload the blog post anyway, except on an offline blog editor. Did you mean Publish?
Have you tried a full restart?

Also, are you signed in as a contributor? For contributors, the publish and image upload buttons will not appear since they are not allowed to upload images or publish posts.
Those assigned authors, editors and administrators roles can.

Yes, I’ve restarted, cleared cache, cookies, and signed in as administrator. Also, tried Firefox instead of Safari.
Oops, I did mean publish, not upload. No button either way. I’ll log out now and try Opera, my only other option, although I don’t think its a browser issue. -

I tried to create a post last week and it was same, would not work. I put aside for a few days and tried again today with same result. I don’t post every day, so could have been over 2 weeks.

Go to users > your profile while logged in with the username you are trying to post with, and make sure you are set as an administrator.

Yep, did those things too. i just sent a message to staff after checking to make sure I’m in as administrator. I’m the only person using this blog so figured that wouldn’t be a problem.
I can e-mail an entry, but then cannot edit it after it has been posted.
Thanks for your input, I’m sure its something simple somewhere in the process.
