Cannot upload pictures on my blog

  My blog is operating fine for text entries, but i am unable to upload any files to my entries, such as pictures. When i try to upload a file i get the following error message:

  Unable to create directory C:Inetpubvhostscostaricaholiday.co.ukhttpdocsblog/wp-content/uploads/2007/08. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

  Can anyone help me fix this so that i can get some pictures up on my blog, its looking a bit bland at the moment,
