Cannot use visual editor – stuck on code editor

    Hi. I attempted to create a new post yesterday, but oddly the editor was stuck in code editor mode. The option to move to visual editor is greyed-out, with the message “You can enable the visual editor in your profile settings.”

    Unfortunately, I cannot enable the visual editor in my profile settings.

    I have tried a different theme, disabling all plugins, using a different browser, reinstalling WP, upgrading PHP, clearing cache etc – nothing works.

    I even tried installing the Classic Editor plugin but that too will only allow me to use it in code editor mode.

    Does anyone have any ideas!? Thanks in advance…
