Cannot use WP Windows app

I created my WP account through Google, but when I log into the WP Windows app it tells me:
‘Your account has not been activated. We sent you an email with a link to activate.Resend activation email’
The link to resend activation email is non-existent, and I have both my primary and recovery e-mails activatedThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve checked the WordPress.com account you are currently logged in to and it has already been activated. Are you logging in to the app as jdepouw3ca0983a2e (with your WordPress.com details)?

This is what it says despite my account being activated:
I’m willing to bet that the issue lies where new accounts are created via linking a Google account instead of the traditional method. Whatever flag the app checks must not get updated during non-traditional account creation methods.

The username jdepouw is actually a different account altogether, created a three years ago. Is that yours? The email on it is different and it wasn’t ever verified.
Your account, jdepouw3ca0983a2e, is verified, but it does have a lot of extra characters on the name — which does indeed seem to happen more often when folks create an account through Google.
If the jdepouw from three years ago is not yours, but you’d like to change your username to something less complex (just not jdepouw since that’s taken), you should be able to do that here:
