cannot utilize my added categories

  new to blogs..

  i’ve added several categories, but i can’t apply them to my posts. when i try to extend the categories column (ie, click the plus symbol), i get “something strange has happened. try hitting refresh.” which, of course, does nothing.

  any takers?

  Mine is the same problem too. I created the Blog hardly a day back.

  A couple of other WP users have been posting the same Error, at regular intervals within the past 28 hrs or so.

  It seems a set of all WordPress blog, that are new, tend to have this same problem. Maybe because they are upgrading the system to the WP 2.2. But, I’m not sure what’s wrong with those ‘tags’.

  Does your Admin page, ‘refresh’ after each attempt to add a ‘tag/category’?

  Neverthless try sending a support request. WP Support people are very quick and kind enough to get it fixed. I did the same, and am awaiting a second reply.

  Although I can’t be sure, this sounds like a backend problem to me that will require sending a feedback to staff, including as many details as possible.
