Cannot verify email change

  Hi, I tried to change my email in ‘account settings’, and when I click the link in the email as instructed, only a blank page opens. When I went back to ‘account settings’, the message ‘please check your inbox for a confirmation link’ is still displayed under ’email’

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m getting a 500 error white page when trying to confirm an email change also. I’ve tagged this with modlook for staff to see if they can help confirm the change.

  Hi there,

  I’m able to successfully change the email address on my test account if I try.

  Please clear your browser cache and cookies, then log back into your WordPress.com account and try clicking the link in the email again.

  
  @darciemg, I don’t see any recent email changes on the account you’re using to post here. Did you also use a test account? Were you logged into that account in the same browser session where you clicked the confirmation link?

  @kokkieh, I should have stated I tried on my test account @darciegriffin. It loaded a white page with a 500 error, clicked the email from the same browser as that account was logged in. It works now, however. The error appears to be resolved.

  Thanks darciemg, odd. I wasn’t able to find reports on this but I’m glad it is resolved now!
