Cannot work out how to change heading colour or text

Hi, I’ve been working with the Zino theme to spruce my site up a bit and for the life of me I can’t seem to find how to change the colour of the heading text at the top of each page.

For example, the About page has “About” in big black letters at the top, problem is….the background is black, so I need to change the text itselsf. I’ve managed to change the body text colour no problem, but I can’t seem to change the headings in the same way.

What should be something nice n simple has got me stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

It says that the theme supports ‘full site editing’ so you should be able to edit the header colour in the editor.

Try going to Customizing>Colors & Backgrounds in the editor and see if there is a colour scheme that works for your site. There should be some default colour schemes and then a ‘More’ button with randomized palettes.

You can also try asking the developer of this 3rd party theme. Here is the website https://maneshtimilsina.com/contact/

I’m fairly sure I’ve tried something along those lines already. I’ll run thru my process and try and chuck in some screen shots.

    • Fire up the user area, scroll down to Appearance. Click Customise:

As I have a Woo Commerce plugin, it takes me to this menu where I click on Use Site Editor:

….which takes me to the Design menu where I click on Styles

….which opens up this menu on the right hand side where I click on Colours:

    This menu then appears:

I’ve changed the Text colour option by selecting white from the menu, but this doesn’t seem to have any effect the heading text on any of the pages.

I’ve also tried going through the Apprearance > Customise > Use Site Editor > route, and clicking on Pages instead of Styles, where I can select the specific page I want to edit.

I’ll click on the About page seeing as that’s the first one

As you can see, the heading is very dark, and having tested it on a few different screens, really difficult to read. I want to make it the same colour as the white text in the body of the page.

I’ll click on the block containing the Heading to select it, but I get a message telling me i have to “Edit template to edit this block”

So I click on the Edit Template link and get taken to another page with this menu:

I click on General to edit the body of the page, and click to select the Title block, click Block then Styles in the menu,

Under the Colour menu, click on Text and choose white from the menu.

    WOOHOO, it works!
I’ve spent days trying to figure this out, probably shouldn’t need to go this deep into a menu dive just to change heading/title text colour but hey, I’ve got there.

Congratulations, I am glad you were able to figure it out.
