Can's add media or add a poll

  I cannot add media or add a poll — when I click on “Add Media” or “Add a Poll” nothing happens at all. I don’t even get any kind of message. I also get nothing when I click on Screen Options and Help. This just happened today — up until now I’ve had no problems. And it’s not just my computer; I can’t use these buttons on any of the computers in my household.
  I’m not technically savvy, so please do not use computer jargon. I need to be walked through step by step.

  Howdy,

  We’re working an issue that developed that’s impacting folks using Internet Explorer 9.0. While we’re getting this fixed, would it be possible for you to either upgrade to IE 10 or to use Firefox or Chrome?

  You are a life saver — well, not really, but you know what I mean. I downloaded Firefox and it works great! (Thought I was going to have to trudge to the library today to try the site on their computers, so you saved me a trip.) Thanks!
